Smart Home

A smart home can offer layers of benefit or complexity to someone’s experience in a home. Our approach to a smart home is to provide as much as someone would like to experience, by allowing them to do what they normally would do while allowing the intuitive nature of a system build confidence to do more. If you would like to turn the lights on in a room, you still have a wall switch, if you would like to change the temperature in a room you can use the wall AC controller.

Events are programmed based on time of the day to enhance your experience. For example, the blinds opening at sunrise in the living areas and closing at sunset in the bedrooms, dimmed lighting in the bedrooms creating a turned down experience in the evening. Single press “Good Night” buttons, turns off all lights and AV and sets the bathroom lighting to a dimmed level for overnight use.

The Savant System provides an overlay GUI (Graphical User Interface) by integrating each individual sub systems operation all into a single control point. Savant provides an elegant graphical display via handheld remotes or touchscreens, allowing control of all services in each room via a single point. This includes the lighting, blinds, music, temperature (AC), TV, Foxtel, and Streaming services.

Use a scene to set a completely different mood to a room from a single button press; For example, Turn the lights on to a dimmed level, put the blinds down, turn the TV on and select your favourite channel.
